Kundi Edibles wasn’t born in a boardroom, it was born in the fields of Haryana and the labs of food science. The idea for Kundi Edibles started simply with a growing concern about what we were putting into our bodies every day.
Food innovation doesn’t need to mean artificial or overly processed. It should mean smarter, purer, and closer to nature. The idea for Kundi Edibles came during my early research into how traditional food practices could be modernized without compromising nutrition. That idea stayed with me during my food technology studies in National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), and it deepened during my time in the UK, where I was researching supply chains and food systems more closely.
I noticed a consistent gap in one of the most basic staples in Indian kitchens — flour. Most packaged flours lacked the nutrient diversity our bodies need, and the refinement process often stripped away the very components that aid digestion and health.
This observation sparked a simple but powerful question:
“What if we could combine ancestral grain wisdom with a research-based, high-quality recipe?”
That question led me to design a flour that goes back to our roots — using a scientifically formulated blend of grains like wheat, foxtail millets, jowar, ragi, barley, chana, and soyabean. Each grain is chosen not just for taste, but for function: better gut health, longer freshness, and easier digestion.
Today, at our facility in Kundi village, we mill this blend slowly and carefully using traditional methods with modern controls — ensuring every batch reflects our core values: purity, science-backed nutrition, and unmatched quality.
